Cycle Brookfield is currently working with the village to get the Village to provide matching grant funding for a study to allow a cycling and walking path along 31st street between Prairie Avenue and First Avenue.Trail Extension Issue

Cycle Brookfield has submitted an application for Bike Walk Every Town, an Active Transportation Alliance suburban advocacy program dedicated to supporting the efforts of suburban advocates interested in improving walking, biking and transit in their communities.Bike Walk Education in Schools Act
Bike Walk Education in Schools Act clarifies the existing traffic safety K-8 school curriculum requirement that every public school include instruction, study and discussion of safe walking and bicycling methods. Cycle Brookfield has reached out to local officials to see if our members could be of assistance to District 95. Since one of our club’s missions is to promote educational and outreach programs that encourage safe cycling, we believe we can be a resource to District 95.Supporting State and National Bike Organizations Membership
Cycle Brookfield is a club member of the League of American Cyclist and many of its member belong to Ride Illinois.
